Balance™ Foot S

Overview

Details

Product description

Balance Foot S is a lightweight, waterproof foot specifically designed to meet the needs of low active walkers. For these users, the cushioning heel foam with gradual stiffening and wide sole blade provides enhanced stability perception, and the perception of a smooth rollover. The anatomical foot cover features a steady-grip sole and a sandal clamping toe, for the opportunity to wear different types of footwear.

Össur recommends using Balance Foot S in conjunction with the sleeveless elevated vacuum suspension system Unity®, which adds minimal weight and no build height, and does not interfere with Balance Foot S dynamics. Unity is designed to provide secure suspension in combination with Iceross Seal-In® technology, while stabilizing volume fluctuations and maintaining comfortable socket fit throughout the day.

Multi-axial ground compliance

Multi-axial compliance of the foot provides improved ground contact during ambulation on uneven surfaces.

Sandal toe

Narrow, anatomically correct foot cover for use with a sandal toe shoe.

Split toe

A split toe feature allows the foot to adjust to the surface below, allowing amputees to walk naturally on uneven ground.

Waterproof

Whether it's fresh water, salt water or chlorinated water, Waterproof Össur products will give you the maximum protection you need. The use of first-rate materials provides permanent protection against harmful ingress of water, even after submersion, whilst continuing to provide the functionality you expect.
