Össur Rigid Dressing

Product description

The Össur Rigid Dressing (ORD) immobilizes, protects and controls post-operative oedema in the residual limb immediately following below-the-knee amputation surgery. ORD is made of soft and pliable material, formed around the residual limb. The dressing is made rigid by creating a vacuum in the internal chambers of the product. ORD matches the volume and shape of the residual limb and assists in preventing contractures by restricting knee flexion.

Containing the residual limb contributes to pain relief and prevents discomfort caused by bed trauma and possible falls during early rehabilitation.
